All roads on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite are set to lead into this weekend’s Full Gear PPV.
- AEW Dynamite is set for a bumper three-hour episode this week, ahead of the weekend’s Full Gear PPV.
- The RoH Television Championship holder will be decided as Velvet Red takes on the interim champion, Mercedes Moné.
- Plus, the first entrants for the Casino Gauntlet to win the new AEW National Championship, and the Women’s Tag Team Championship quarterfinals are also scheduled to take place.
Perhaps this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite might be a less bloody affair than what we witnessed last week, after both the men’s and women’s Blood & Guts matches?
Both matches have had knock-on effects leading into this weekend’s Full Gear PPV, as the rivalry between Kris Statlander and Mercedes Moné reached a breaking point during the Women's Blood & Guts match. It was a chaotic scene where both champions took risks, including Statlander delivering a massive Samoan Drop to Moné through a table at ringside.
However, Team Moné ultimately secured the victory when 'Timeless' Toni Storm quit to save her friend, Mina Shirakawa, serving as a massive momentum shift going into their encounter for the AEW Women's World Championship.

The calls of 'you tapped out' continue to dog Death Riders leader Jon Moxley after the Men’s Blood & Guts match; after tapping to Adam Page to lose the AEW World Championship at All In 2025, his bad luck continued after tapping out once more—this time to Kyle O’Reilly in a brutal submission finish that saw Darby Allin thrown through a flaming table by PAC.
That’s now led to both PAC and Allin facing each other at Full Gear, and with the Women’s Tag Team Championship quarter-finals taking place on Dynamite, alongside learning the first entrants for the Casino Gauntlet battle royal for the new AEW National Championship, no wonder it’s set to be an unmissable show leading into their next big PPV!
What time is AEW Dynamite starting in the UK this week?
Those wishing to watch this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite live will need to sign up to TrillerTV and their AEW Plus subscription, which will allow unfettered access to the show and an archive of AEW events, with the latest episode scheduled to start at 1am GMT on November 20.
For those, however, who are looking for the episode to arrive on free-to-air TV in the UK this week, ITV4 will be showing an abridged version of the show on Friday (November 21) at 11pm GMT.
What matches have been announced so far for this week’s AEW Dynamite?
ROH Women's World TV Championship Unification: Red Velvet v Mercedes Moné
This match has massive championship implications in Mercedes Moné's hometown. With Moné holding the Interim title and Red Velvet holding the original title (which she never lost), the stakes are clear: one undisputed champion will emerge.
Moné, known for her aggressive, "Boss" style, will be wary of her Full Gear opponent, Kris Statlander, who took her out last week. Red Velvet, now cleared, will be eager to prove her reign was never truly over.
AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarterfinals
The AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship Tournament intensifies with two quarterfinal matchups this week.
The first contest sees the ‘Timeless Lovebombs’ Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa desperately needing a win to regain composure after their emotional Blood & Guts loss; they face a tough test of cohesion against the consistently solid team of Riho and Alex Windsor, two experienced friends.
The second quarterfinal is a clash between raw momentum and veteran desire, as the dominant force of Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir, who just won Blood & Guts, takes on TayJay (Tay Melo and Anna Jay), a team who have eagerly awaited the creation of these tag titles for years.
Hangman Adam Page v Katsuyori Shibata
Hangman Adam Page is not just fighting for a win here; he’s fighting for survival and momentum leading into his title rematch against Samoa Joe at Full Gear.
The major question is how Page’s already damaged back will hold up against the relentless, stiff style of Katsuyori Shibata, one of the world's finest technical wrestlers. Shibata will ruthlessly target that injury, trying to submit Page or force a costly mistake.
If The Opps (Joe and Hobbs) get involved, look for Eddie Kingston and Hook to make the save, turning this match into a chaotic preview of the inevitable Full Gear showdown.
AEW National Championship Casino Gauntlet Entry Matches
The new AEW National Championship is a major prize, and this week's matches will determine who earns the crucial #1 and #2 spots in the Casino Gauntlet at Full Gear, which significantly improves a wrestler's chances of becoming the inaugural champion.
The first qualifier is a clash of styles pitting Bobby Lashley's raw power and dominant presence against Ricochet's aerial acrobatics and speed; Lashley's brute force often overwhelms smaller opponents, but Ricochet's agility could frustrate ‘The All Mighty,’ and the winner gains the crucial #1 entry.
Meanwhile, the second qualifier sees Shelton Benjamin's seasoned amateur wrestling and technical skill go up against Speedball Mike Bailey’s martial arts-inspired offence for the #2 spot. Both contests feature competitors with prior history, adding extra intensity to these crucial tournament qualifiers.
Double Jeopardy Match: Kazuchika Okada v Mascara Dorada
‘The Rainmaker’ Kazuchika Okada continues his mission to assert his dominance against international champions, this time in a high-stakes Double Jeopardy match.
The winner gains a shot at the loser's championship (either the AEW Unified Championship or the CMLL World Trios Championships). Dorada previously impressed Okada in a three-way, making him a credible threat.
However, this match is overshadowed by the looming presence of Kenny Omega's return.
Omega, who has unfinished business with the Don Callis Family, is likely to factor into the main event scene, potentially distracting Okada or serving as a warning to his current allies, the Young Bucks, ahead of Full Gear.
