James Wilson, Jamie Elliott and Kahn Fotuali’i, who all missed last weekend’s 33-10 win at Worcester, are hoping to be ready for the crunch Heineken Cup clash.

And Saints boss Jim Mallinder is eager to have all three players back as he bids to mastermind a success which would keep his men in contention in Pool 1.

“We’re hopeful they’ll all be available,” said Mallinder. “The physios will be working hard over the next few days.

“James Wilson’s been one of our most influential players all season and it was unfortunate that he just tweaked his hamstring last Wednesday in training so he couldn’t play on Saturday.

“We’re hoping Jamie Elliott will be fine. He’s just got a little ankle injury he’s looking after.”

However, Mallinder will have to do without England stars Ben Foden and Alex Corbisiero, who have both been ruled out for around three months with knee injuries.

James Craig (shoulder) and George Pisi (suspended) will also play no part against Leinster at Franklin’s Gardens.
