Roger Wilson was the most consistent player I’ve played with and definitely the most underrated in Ireland. He was unlucky not to get more international caps.

Who was the toughest?

Besty (Neil Best) and Samu (Manoa). Both tough players on and off the pitch.

Who was the most skillful?

George PisiGeorge Pisi

Carlos Spencer. I honestly think he didn’t know what he was going to do next, always playing what’s in front of him, and everyone around him had to react to that.

Who was the kitman's nightmare?

Kitman Kev ran a tight ship so everyone was a nightmare for him. Stash was locked up well so we raided it at every opportunity we got.

Who was the best dancer?

George Pisi has some hidden talents on the dance floor that only come out when he’s had a few drinks.

Who was the worst dresser?

Probably me! Shorts and flip flops was my go-to regardless of the weather (lazy dresser).

Who was the biggest drinker?

James Downey is called Jimmy P*** for a reason. Loves a few pints the morning after a big night out to get rid of his hangovers.

Who had the worst chat?

Ryan Powell. He was always talking about himself and how good he is/was.

Who was Mr Vain?

Roger Wilson loves his hair products and was always the last one out of the changing room.

Who had the best hairstyle?

Teimana Harrison and Tom Wood - from dreadlocks to mullets to unknown hairstyles. More about style than appearance for them.

Who was the grumpiest?

Ryan Lamb loves to argue his point and ends up grumpy when he doesn’t get his way.

Who was the best singer?

Ben Foden and Euan Murray both loved to sing everywhere: in the gym, showers, training ground, socials. It was actually annoying.

Who was the leader?

Dylan Hartley led well on the pitch but also balanced it well with off-field activities and socials.

Who was the coach's favourite?

Few candidates for this one. James Downey, Samu Manoa and Roger Wilson, but coach's pet has to go to captain Hartley. Can do no wrong in Dorian West’s eyes and would be first name on the team sheet when he was available.
