Saints star Dingwall scores as England claim excellent win against New Zealand

Saints centre Fraser Dingwall scored for England as they claimed a superb 33-19 Quilter Nations Series win against New Zealand at Allianz Stadium on Saturday.

Dingwall started in the 12 shirt and made his mark early in the second half, running a lovely line to latch on to an Ollie Lawrence pass before diving over the line.

Alex Coles and Alex Mitchell also impressed after being named in the starting line-up, and Henry Pollock had his trademark highlight moments from the bench, including setting up a try for Tom Roebuck with some expert footballing ability.

England have now won all three of their autumn matches ahead of the final game of the campaign, at home to Argentina next Sunday.

The victory over New Zealand was England’s first on home soil against the All Blacks since 2012 and their first against New Zealand anywhere since the Rugby World Cup semi-final in 2019.

It was a 10th successive victory for Steve Borthwick’s side, who bounced back from an early 12-0 deficit to claim a memorable triumph at Allianz Stadium.
