RFU release written judgement on Hartley ban
Hartley was banned for 11 weeks for verbally abusing referee Wayne Barnes during Saturday’s Premiership final defeat to Leicester Tigers.
The player pleaded not guilty at the hearing on Sunday morning, but is now forced to miss the upcoming Lions tour as well as three Saints pre-season games.

Hide AdHartley will not be permitted to return to action until September 1, meaning he will be unable to build up his match fitness ahead of the new season.
The hooker was given the right to appeal the decision but he has decided against it.
