That is because the broadcaster has agreed to show every single league match, all the way up to and including the Premiership final at Twickenham on October 24.

It is good news for supporters, who will not be able to watch games from grounds as the action will be taking place behind closed doors due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Eight of Saints’ remaining nine league fixtures, including dates and kick-off times, have now been announced by Premiership Rugby.

Chris Boyd’s side face Wasps, Bath, Exeter Chiefs and Sale Sharks on home soil at the Gardens in a busy run-in to the season.

They will lock horns with London Irish, Harlequins, Bristol Bears, Leicester Tigers and Gloucester on the road.

Premiership Rugby are still in consultation with clubs over the composition of Round 21, when Saints will welcome Sale Sharks, with confirmed fixtures for that weekend to be announced at a later date.

BT Sport is also working with all Premiership clubs to offer season ticket holders free access to home league matches broadcast on the BT Sport app.

The BT Sport Match Pass is designed for season ticket holders of participating clubs who do not already have a BT Sport subscription, and cannot attend their home matches in person due to the current restrictions.

Further information will be made available soon for Saints season ticket holders wishing to sign up for this service.

Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed that the 2020/21 Premiership season will start on Friday, November 20, concluding with the final at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday, June 26.
