Leicester Tigers centre Perese hit with ban after red card against Saints
Leicester Tigers centre Izaia Perese has been suspended after being shown a 20-minute card in the game against Saints last Saturday.
Perese was dismissed by referee Matthew Carley for a high tackle on Saints skipper George Furbank, who had to go off for a head injury assessment.

The RFU judgement says Saints have since provided a report to confirm Furbank ‘is injury free, and has today passed his HIA 3’.
Perese’s case was heard by an independent panel chaired by Daniel Gore, sitting with Jeremy Summers and Guy Lovgreen.
The charge was upheld and Perese received a three-match ban, which will be reduced by one if he successfully completes the World Rugby Coaching Intervention Programme (CIP).
That means he is set to miss Tigers’ key PREM games against Sale Sharks and Exeter Chiefs in the coming weeks.
But he will be back to face Bath at The Rec on the final day of the regular season should he successfully complete the CIP.
