England deliver Dingwall injury update after Saints centre is ruled out of Argentina clash

Fraser Dingwall has been ruled out of England’s final autumn fixture due to a side strain.

Dingwall, who scored in last Saturday’s win against New Zealand, had been selected to start at inside centre against Argentina at Allianz Stadium on Sunday (kick-off 4.10pm).

However, in a 4pm update on Friday, the RFU announced the Saints star had been ruled out.

Bath man Max Ojomoh comes in to start alongside Henry Slade at centre.

But England defence coach Richard Wigglesworth played down the severity of Dingwall’s injury.

“Fraser Dingwall picked up a side injury during the game (against New Zealand),” Wigglesworth said.

“We thought he was going to be all right but he has not quite made it for this one.

“It’s nothing serious.”
