And the 30-year-old is relishing the prospect of this weekend’s reunion, taking time to reflect on his successful stay at Saints ahead of the game.

“It’s going to be a weird day,” said Mujati in his You Tube video diary, The Life of Brian.

“It’s weird enough watching them on TV, but I’m looking forward to seeing them. I miss a lot of those guys.

“Northampton was a great place for me and that was a place where, as a professional, I presented the best side of me on a few occasions.

“For that reason, I’ll always be proud of my time there and I’ll never forget that time in my life.

“Two of my kids were born there and everything considered it was a difficult decision (to leave) but one I don’t regret. Anybody in my position would have had to make it.”
