Calvin Harrison says there will be 'no let up' from in-form Steelbacks as they head to rivals Gloucestershire
Calvin Harrison says there will be no letting up in intensity as Northants Steelbacks go in search of an eighth straight win in the Vitality Blast at Gloucestershire on Wednesday night (start 7pm).
The County can open up a 12-point lead at the top of the Central & West Group with a win against their second-placed opponents, and Harrison says he and his team-mates are determined to do just that.

Friday night's 130-run demolition of Essex Eagles at the cinch County Ground was another statement win for Darren Lehmann's side, who are the only unbeaten team in the country in the 2026 Blast.
And although they already have one foot in the quarter-finals, Harrison, who took a career-best five for nine to help dismissed Essex for just 108, insists there will be no taking the foot off the gas from him or his team-mates.
"We don't want to let up or be complacent," said the 28-year-old leg-spinning all-rounder. "We are treating every game as if it is the first game of the season.
"You are disappointed to lose any game, and the consequence of a loss would feel exactly the same now as it would have done at the very beginning of the competition, which is good.
"There is that hunger to win regardless.
"We don't want to sit off or ease off, we want to keep being aggressive as we have been, and doing what has worked for us."
A win at Bristol would see the Steelbacks move 12 points ahead of their hosts, and also open up a 16-point advantage on third-placed Glamorgan.
When the two sides met at Wantage Road last month, the Steelbacks secured a seven-wicket success, as an inspired James Sales claimed five for 21 to restrict Gloucestershire to 164 for nine before Chris Lynn and Nathan McSweeney hit quickfire half-centuries to power Northants to a comfortable win.
But Harrison is wary of the threat of the south west county, who only suffered a second defeat in seven Blast games on Friday, going down by 18 runs to Somerset at Taunton.
"It will be good to go against Gloucestershire on their home turf," said the South African-born player.
"They are a strong T20 side so we will have to continue producing the same as we have been.
"I don't think anything will change in terms of how we are going to approach the game.
"We will be positive, we will go on the front foot and will keep trying to throw the first punch, which is what we always try and do."
