United Counties League mourns loss of Jeremy Biggs

The league’s registration director and press officer passed away suddenly last night (Wednesday).

He was a familiar face around the UCL for a number of years and was particularly known for compiling reports from all the games on every match day.

He also served as secretary of Stamford and was invaluable to the local media in providing statistics and information from all corners of the UCL.

The United Counties League tweeted the news earlier today by saying: “It is with great sadness that we advise of the passing overnight of Jeremy Biggs.

“The league offers sincere sympathy to Jeremy’s father.”
