Top-scorer Lewthwaite the latest to announce he is leaving troubled Corby Town
Striker Tyrone Lewthwaite has announced he has left Corby Town in the wake of the budget cuts that has hit the playing and management staff.
It is proving to be a week of upheaval at Steel Park, with manager Gary Setchell and his assistant Darren Edey having announced their departure on Tuesday, along with veteran midfielder Gary Stohrer.

Their moving on has been sparked by the club imposing two reported 15 per cent pay cuts in as many weeks, with owner James Longley admitting the Steelmen could not continue to operate on the budget agreed pre-season.
More are expected to depart, with the latest to confirm he is seeking pastures new being former Kettering Town striker Lewthwaite, who signed on in the summer.
Writing on social media, Lewthwaite said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances at the club I’ve had to make a logical decision to move on.
"I want to thank the management, my team mates and the fans for all the support this season."
Front runner Lewthwaite had enjoyed an excellent start to the season, and is the club's top-scorer with 10 goals from 19 appearances, although he hasn't played since November 1 due to injury.
There would have been more clues as to who is staying and who is going if Corby had played their scheduled Pitching-In Northern Premier League Midlands Division clash with Coleshill Town at Steel Park on Wednesday night.
But the game has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. The Steelmen, who are still without an announced interim manager, are due to entertain Long Eaton United on Saturday.
