Taylor and Williams staying on at Kettering

Kettering Town have extended the loan deals of Matthew Taylor and Jay Williams.

Left-back Taylor has impressed over the past month or so having joined the Poppies on a temporary deal from Vanarama National League side Harrogate Town.

So far, Taylor has made eight appearances for Kettering and scored one goal - on his debut in the 2-2 draw at Gloucester City.

Northampton Town youngster Williams joined for his second stint on loan with the Poppies this season last month and featured for the club over the festive period, having had to sit out a two-match ban at the start of his loan.

Both players will be available for when Paul Cox’s team make the long trip to take on play-off chasing Spennymoor Town in the Vanarama National League North on Saturday.
