With pubs being allowed to open from Saturday, the Poppies will be opening the clubhouse at their home ground from 11am.

They will be following government Covid-19 recommendations and will be operating a table service for all customers with seating available both inside and in designated areas outside the clubhouse.

The capacity will be greatly reduced until the present restrictions are lifted but the club will do all they can to accommodate everyone who wishes to attend.

But the club will also be offering small group tours of the ground itself to give fans the opportunity to look around following a busy few months while manager Paul Cox, assistant John Ramshaw and coach Ben Marvin will also be in attendance.

Despite a lack of football following the early finish to last season work has been ongoing to get the ground up to standard for the National League North.

New turnstiles have been installed, a new 250-seater stand has also been placed at one end of the ground while, amongst other things, new areas of stepped terracing have also been added.

Those choosing to attend on Saturday will be reminded of the importance of respecting the social distance requirements to protect themselves and everyone else.
