The early decision to call of tomorrow (Tuesday) night's game was made this evening following talks between the two clubs and the Vanarama National League North.

Earlier today, the Poppies had confirmed that there would be a pitch inspection tomorrow lunchtime but the decision has now been made to postpone the match.

A statement from Kettering said: "Following discussions between the National League, Kettering Town and Hereford, the decision has been made to postpone tomorrow’s National League North game at Latimer Park.

"Earlier today a pitch inspection was scheduled for 1pm tomorrow afternoon, but that will no longer be required.

"The decision comes after taking into consideration the poor travelling conditions left by the recent storms that have been experienced across the country.

"A new date for the game has been agreed for Tuesday, March 10."

Paul Cox's team will now be hoping to return to action when they head to bottom side Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday.
