Poppies' and Diamonds' matches called off
Kettering Town and AFC Rushden & Diamonds have seen their midweek matches wiped out by the wet weather.
The Poppies’ Vanarama National League North derby clash with Brackley Town was called off for a second time this season following a 1pm pitch inspection at Latimer Park with the surface waterlogged following the recent rain.
Paul Cox’s team are due to be at home this Saturday with Hereford the visitors.
It was a similar story at Hayden Road as Diamonds’ home clash with Needham Market was also postponed following a lunchtime inspection.
Diamonds, who are on the back of three wins in a row, will hope to return to BetVictor Southern League Premier Central action with a home clash against Stratford Town at the weekend.
