Peaks impressed as Diamonds seal another win
The damage was done in the second half after a goalless opening period as Nabil Shariff broke the deadlock on the hour mark.

And, with a clean sheet thrown in, it all added up to make Peaks a very satisfied manager.
“I was really pleased with the performance from start to finish,” the Diamonds boss said.
“We took our goals well and we defended much better than in recent games so the clean sheet was just as important as the three points.

“It wasn’t easy because the conditions made it difficult to pass the ball well.
“But, overall, it was a really good performance throughout the whole team.
“We wanted back-to-back wins and six points from two games really changes the complexion of the league table and we can see that for ourselves now.

That big game sees Diamonds back on home soil as they take on Stourbridge on Saturday.
