Tommy Wright also swooped for two other signings as he bids to shake things up ahead of the Vanarama National League North run-in, which will see Corby try to pull off the great escape from relegation.

Defender Taylor McKenzie has joined on loan from Notts County until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old started his youth career at Tottenham Hotspur before also having spells at Norwich City and Sheffield Wednesday.

He joined Notts County in May 2014 and had a loan spell at Gainsborough Trinity before making his Magpies debut in the FA Cup last season.

Also joining the Steelmen is central midfielder Jon Breeze from Welsh Premier side Cerin Druids.

The Northern Irishman has been capped by his country at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 levels and started his career at the Liverpool Academy.

He went on to have spells at Wigan Athletic, Colwyn Bay, Morecambe, Rhyl and Witton Albion.

Both O’Hanlon and McKenzie will be available to feature in Saturday’s make-or-break clash with fellow strugglers Hednesford Town at Steel Park.

But Corby are awaiting international clearance for Breeze before he can make his debut.
