Desborough Town picked up their first win since the departure of Chris Bradshaw as they fought back to claim a 3-2 success at ON Chenecks - with the winner coming from a young debutant.

Jason Turner had brought Ar Tarn level at 1-1 after they had trailed in the ChromaSport United Counties League Premier Division clash but they fell behind again before Aidan Bradshaw headed home to make it 2-2 with 19 minutes to go.

The hosts missed a penalty and Desborough took full advantage when 16-year-old substitute Sven Sartain produced a cool finish with just seven minutes remaining to give Glyn Davies his first victory since taking the reins.

Wellingborough Town’s magnificent form under Nathan Marsh continued as they saw off Daventry Town 3-1 at the Dog & Duck to make it five home wins in a row.

Albert Akinremi gave them the lead and then set up Nathanael Ansu for the second

And it was 3-0 when good play from Deven Ellwood and Akinremi set up Andy Hall for a close-range finish.

Daventry pulled one back late on but the Doughboys saw things out.

Next door, things didn’t turn out so well for struggling Whitworth as they went down 3-2 at home to St Andrews, who moved above the Flourmen as a result.

Whitworth are now third-from-bottom but are 10 points clear of Sileby Rangers below them.

In Division One, Thrapston Town were the big winners as they claimed a fine 4-0 victory over Long Buckby at Chancery Lane.

And the bottom-of-the-table clash saw Stewarts & Lloyds lose out 3-0 at fellow strugglers Stewarts & Lloyds.
