No jeopardy for Doughboys as they prepare for final home game of excellent season
Wellingborough Town will finish the season in an excellent eighth place in the Pitching-In Northern Premier League Midlands Division.
The Doughboys enjoyed a mixed Easter weekend, securing a 2-1 home win over Sutton Coldfield Town on Saturday, before slipping to a 2-0 loss at Loughorough Students on Monday.

The results have left Jake Stone's in eighth place ahead of their final game of the season at home to Shepshed Dynamo on Saturday, and regardless of how results go this weekend that is where they will be staying.
Borough can't be overhauled by the sides beneath them, and can't catch seventh-placed Darlaston Town.
Brett Solkhon was the hero on Saturday, the veteran netting a stoppage time winner for a Doughboys side who had been reduced to 10 men with the 73rd-minute sending-off of midfielder Lloyd Buckby.
Danny Draper had fired Borough ahead after just seven minutes, with Sutton Coldfield equalising 10 minutes into the second half.
On Monday, Loughborough took the lead on 14 minutes through Joshua Strouts and then wrapped up the points with a Samuel Fielding strike four minutes from time.
Shepshed will arrive sitting 13th in the table, but in good heart after they secured a 1-1 home draw with runaway champions Quorn on Easter Monday.
They were also 3-0 winners at AFC Rushden & Diamonds on Saturday.
When the two sides met at Shepshed back in August, the match ended 1-1, with the Doughboys goal coming from Jay Bruce.
