Kinniburgh 'embarrassed' by Corby's home defeat
The Steelmen were well off the pace at a freezing Steel Park as goals from Danny Quinn and Oliver Bassett secured a much-needed and well-deserved three points for the visitors, who are fighting to survive in the Evo-Stik League South.
Corby remain eight points off the play-off places with 10 games to go but any hopes of finishing in the top six seem to be a long way off following a lacklustre home display.

“I am embarrassed,” he said.
“I am embarrassed for myself because that went out and represented me. I am embarrassed for the people involved at the club. And I am embarrassed for the fans who have come out on a freezing cold day to watch that.
“We gave pretty much nothing all game. We have had a few shots and the goalkeeper has made a couple of saves that you would expect him to make.
“There wasn’t a period of the game where we were on top and you thought ‘we are going to score now’. From start to finish, I am embarrassed.”
“It was all five-yard passes here, five-yard passes there.

“There wasn’t a part of the game where I thought ‘we’ve done that well’.
“We didn’t use the weather or the conditions.
“We have got intelligent footballers in the dressing-room but for some reason it didn’t transpire onto the pitch.
“It’s killed us really because we have been chasing a lot and we had the bad spell around Christmas time and we have come back out of it with two wins and then had three weeks off.
