Table-topping Poppies haven't got going yet, says boss Law
The Poppies claimed their eighth win from nine league matches so far this season with a 3-0 success at St Neots Town.
After a goalless first half, Kettering opened the scoring thanks to Brett Solkhon’s penalty and they rounded things off in the final 10 minutes when Rhys Hoenes converted another spot-kick before Marcus Kelly wrapped it up.

And the manager believes there is more to come from his table-topping team.
“We didn’t play particularly well but what we are doing well is staying in games and grinding things out and that’s what happened again,” Law said.
“We eventually asked questions and when we got our opportunities, we took them.

“But when it came to clear shots on goal and opportunities created, I think our stats were slightly better.
“We have a defensive unit that is giving very little away and we are being clinical with our chances at the other end and when you have that balance, it brings rewards.
“It’s a pleasing victory but we don’t even feel like we have got going yet.

The Poppies have now scored 11 penalties this season with Solkhon having hit the target seven times from 12 yards and Hoenes scoring the other four.
And once again, Law insisted there could be few arguments about the penalty decisions in their latest outing.
“They were penalties and the referee had no choice but to award them,” he added.

“Once again, the penalties were clear and we have someone in Brett who is, touch wood, doing well with them and even when he went off, Rhys has stepped up to score another one.”
