The experienced defender has been snapped up by the Poppies with them facing something of a selection crisis for tomorrow's (Saturday) Vanarama National League North clash against Guiseley at Latimer Park.

Connor Johnson is suspended after being sent-off for two bookable offences in last weekend's 3-2 defeat at Boston United while on-loan defender George Cooper had to be withdrawn due to injury.

Kettering have reacted by making a move for Daly, who has featured for Nuneaton in their Southern League Premier Central campaign.

The 34-year-old, who had a stint at Corby Town in his younger days, has played at National League level for the likes of Solihull Moors, where he made over 250 appearances, and Barnet in the past.

Daly will go straight into the Poppies squad for the clash with Guiseley, although the match will only be going ahead if the Latimer Park surface passes a pitch inspection which will take place at 7.45am tomorrow morning.
