In-form Doughboys gearing up for Borough test after double postponement disappointment
Wellingborough Town will look to maintain their play-off challenge on Saturday when they entertain Rugby Borough in the Pitching-In Northern Premier League Midlands Division (ko 3pm).
The sixth-placed Doughboys have been frustrated by postponements in their past two scheduled games, denying them the chance to build on the 1-0 win over runaway league leaders Carlton Town in their most recent outing.

Last Tuesday's trip to Coventry Sphinx was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, and Saturday's derby date at Corby Town went the same way after heavy rain in the days leading up to the clash at Steel Park.
Fifth-placed Coleshill Town took the opportunity to stretch their advantage over Jake Stone's side, easing to a comfortable 3-0 win over 10-man Rugby Town on Saturday.
It means the Doughboys go into Saturday's encounter sitting four points adrift of Coleshill and the play-offs, although they do have a game in hand.
Third-placed Belper Town are also in the Doughboys' sights, as they sit nine points better off – but they have played two games more, while second-placed Basford United, who lost at home to Bedworth on Tuesday, are only a point better off.
The Doughboys are right up there in the Midlands Division form table, having lost just once in their past nine league games, and they will go into the game against Rugby as favourites to claim all three points.
Borough enjoyed a strong start to the season following their promotion from the United Counties League and were in and around the play-off places, but they have found things more testing in recent times.
Borough drew 1-1 at home with seventh-placed Shepshed Dynamo on Saturday and have won just two of their past 10 matches, but they have bolstered their squad in recent weeks, including the signing of former Corby Town midfielder Gary Stohrer.
The Doughboys were 1-0 winners when the sides met in the league back in early September.
