The Poppies demolished St Ives and collected a valuable three points in the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division.
They were just two goals to the good at half-time after James Brighton and Weir-Daley both found the net.
But the second period brought an avalanche of goals as Weir-Daley struck three more times - once from the spot after Brighton had been felled - before Jermaine Howe and Wilson Carvalho also scored in the final 10 minutes.
AFC Rushden & Diamonds also had a striker in supreme form as they edged out Stocksbridge Park Steels 3-2 in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South.

Nabil Shariff scored all of their goals including an 86th-minute winner.
