Exodus continues as two more key players head for the Corby Town exit door
Two more key Corby Town players have headed for the exit door at Steel Park.
Goalkeeper Jake Laban and defender Spencer Edwards announced on social media on Wednesday night that they have left the Steelmen and are on the lookout for new clubs.

They follow manager Gary Setchell and his assistant Darren Edey in leaving the club this week, with central midfielder Gary Stohrer and striker and top scorer Tyrone Lewthwaite having also exited.
The exodus has been initiated by the club imposing two reported 15 per cent pay cuts in as many weeks, with owner James Longley admitting the Steelmen could not continue to operate on the budget agreed pre-season due to heavy financial losses.

The squad stuck at it after the first cut, which was announced as being voluntary, and fulfilled fixtures against Rugby Borough and Lichfield City.
But the second cut announced on Monday has proved a step too far for some, with more expected to announce they will be leaving the club as well.
Laban was a summer signing made by Setchell, and he has been a star performer between the sticks this season.
"Due to things going on at the club out of my control I have decided to leave Corby Town," wrote Laban on X.
"I enjoyed my time and grateful to have done it with a great set of people and a great set of fans. Time to find a new club."
Edwards joined the Steelmen in the summer of 2024, and was a key member of the team that reached the Pitching-In Northern Premier League Midlands Division play-off final last season.
He has again been a stalwart in the current campaign, but he too announced that he is quitting Steel Park.
"Unfortunately my time at Corby Town is up," wrote Edwards. "I have enjoyed it from the get go and really appreciate the love and support I was shown from the fans.
"Thank you to Gary Setchell for taking me in. An incredible gaffer, and even better bloke. Not many like him around!"
Setchell responded to the pair's departure on X.
On Edwards, he wrote: "What a pleasure mate, a manager's dream and an unbelievable team mate.
"A proper leader and corner stone of the dressing room."
And on Laban, he added: "A young goalkeeper coming to a club like Corby and turning in the performances you did week on week was a outstanding effort. A big future."
Following Setchell and Edey's resignations, all remains quiet from the club as to who will take charge of the team for Saturday's scheduled league clash with Long Eaton United at Steel Park (ko 3pm).
Wednesday night's clash with Coleshill Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
