Draper delivers stunning strike to secure derby day delight for Doughboys
A stunning strike from Danny Draper ensured the derby day honours went the way of 10-man Wellingborough Town at AFC Rushden & Diamonds in their big Boxing Day clash at Hayden Road.
Draper produced a perfectly executed bicycle kick following a cross from the right just six minutes into the Christmas holiday encounter, and it proved to be the only goal of the game.

The Doughboys were forced to play out the final half hour plus time added on a man down after George Barnell was red-carded, but Jake Stone's men saw the game out and claim another three points.
It was a fourth straight win and a fifth match unbeaten in the Pitching-In Northern Premier League Midlands Division for the Doughboys, who now sit 10th in the table and just three points outside the play-off places.
Stone had bolstered his squad ahead of the short trip to Hayden Road with the signing of two former Corby Town players in Matthew Slinn and Connor Tomlinson.
The pair are two of several Steelmen players that opted to leave the club after being asked to take a 30 per cent pay cut, and the Doughboys moved quickly to secure their services.
Attacker Tomlinson, who has netted eight times for Corby this season, started for the Doughboys in the win over Diamonds, while Slinn was introduced as a second half susbstitute.
Both are likely to be involved when Borough return to action on New Year's Day with a home clash against St Neots Town at the Dog & Duck (ko 3pm).
Promoted from the UCL last season, St Neots have endured a challenging start to life back at Step 4, and currently sit just two places and three points above the relegation zone.
They were 1-0 winners over rock-bottom Bedworth United on Boxing Day.
The Doughboys will be looking for a little bit of revenge when they take on Saints though, having lost 1-0 when the sides last met on August Bank Holiday Monday, Harvey Williams scoring the only goal of the game.
