Doughboys hoping to click on the road as Stone's men aim to close in on high-flying Mickleover
Wellingborough Town will be aiming to bring an end to a five-match streak without a win on their travels when they go to high-flying Mickleover in the Pitching-In Northern Premier League Midlands Division on Saturday.
The Doughboys have certainly got their act together on home soil in recent weeks, with Saturday's 3-0 beating of Boldmere St Michael's making it four games without defeat at the Dog & Duck.

Indeed, Borough have lost just one of their past eight league games on home soil, but it is a different story on the road in the past couple of months.
Jake Stone's side have to go way back to September 13 for their most recent away win, and that was also against Boldmere when they claimed a 2-0 success.
But since then, the Doughboys have suffered from a bit of travel sickness as they have lost four and drawn one of the five matches they have played - with that solitary point an excellent one at runaway leaders Carlton Town on October 11.
The losses have all been tight affairs, with the 2-0 defeat at Sutton Coldfield the only time they have gone down by more than one goal, so Stone will be hoping his team can rediscover their ruthless streak in front of goal on their travels.
They were certainly sharp last weekend as Boldmere were swept aside.
First-half goals from Will Jones and Theo Robinson had the Doughboys 2-0 up at the interval, and then Danny Draper sealed the deal with a penalty 10 minutes from time after a Boldmere defender had handled in the box.
It was a result that saw Borough sneak up to 15th in the Midlands Division table, and there is now a five-point gap between them and the relegation zone, while they are seven points shy of the play-off places.
The Doughboys go to Mickleover targeting a win double over their Derbyshire hosts, having beaten them 4-2 when the sides met in Northamptonshire back in September.
Mickleover currently sit eighth in the table, just two points off the play-offs – but a win for Borough would see the Doughboys close to within just two points of them.
