Diamonds' home clash with Basford called off as the cold snap continues

AFC Rushden & Diamonds’ home game with Basford United tonight (Tuesday) has been postponed.

A pitch inspection was held at Hayden Road this afternoon but, with areas of the surface frozen, the game has been called off and will now have to be rearranged.

Diamonds will hope to be back in action on Saturday when they entertain fellow Southern League Premier Central strugglers Stratford Town.
