Diamonds head to Arlesey on a crucial night in the promotion race

Diamonds finally got back to winning ways at the weekend as Tom Lorraine’s 15th goal of the season secured a 1-0 success at Leighton Town.

Diamonds, who sit in fifth place, remain six points behind leaders Kings Langley and three clear of Chalfont St Peter, who are just outside the play-off positions.

There’s a local derby at Sergeants Lawn as Rothwell Corinthians entertain Harborough Town in the Premier Division while Wellingborough Town will move six points clear of the relegation zone if they can beat Boston Town at the Dog & Duck.

There’s a key game at the top of Division One as Stewarts & Lloyds take on Thrapston Town at Occupation Road.

The Foundrymen will move to within two points of second-placed ON Chenecks with a home success in what is the first of their two games in hand on their promotion rivals.

At Latimer Park, meanwhile, rock-bottom Burton Park Wanderers host Rushden & Higham United, who will move into the top seven with a victory.
