Cooper strikes late to earn Corinthians a point

A late Dan Cooper goal earned Rothwell Corinthians a good point as they claimed a 2-2 draw at Yaxley in the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division.

The league’s top scorer Dan Cotton gave the hosts a half-time lead before Ryan Goodband got Corinthians back on level terms just past the hour.

Cotton’s second of the game looked to have secured the points but Cooper struck in the first minute of stoppage-time to earn Shaun Sparrow’s side a share of the spoils.
