The Steelmen moved seven points clear at the top of the BetVictor Southern League Division One Central after a 3-0 success over Bedford Town at Steel Park on New Year’s Day.

Now they are looking to maintain that advantage over second-placed Halesowen Town.

And Corby look set for a double boost with midfielder Joe Burgess available again after a four-match ban while striker Steve Diggin is closing in on a return after over three months on the sidelines with a knee injury.

“We look forward to every game,” joint-manager Ashley Robinson.

“Coleshill are a good side, they got a draw against Halesowen on Boxing Day and they play on a different surface to what we are used to so it’s not going to be an easy test.

“There are some tough games through January so we all need to pull together as a squad.

“It’s not about individuals, it’s about us being a team and that’s something they are all buying into.”

“Steve and Joe should both be back for this weekend so the squad is really coming together.

“It’s a smallish squad but it’s one in which everyone can play in any position so it doesn’t matter if we chop and change.”
