Dowson praises Saints’ fledgling flankers
Fisher was forced off inside the first two minutes with a foot injury, throwing Teimana Harrison into the mix against Scarlets.
The Kiwi youngster performed admirably alongside Ben Nutley and Dowson as Saints ran out 24-7 winners in the LV= Cup clash.

Hide AdAnd experienced skipper Dowson was impressed with the way his fellow back row forwards adapted to the loss of a player who has started the season in fine form.
“Our roles are pretty interchangeable at the Saints,” said Dowson. “We’ve got good, athletic guys.
“It was good for T (Harrison) to get an opportunity to play.
“We’ll see how Jon Fisher is and hopefully he’ll be okay, but it gave people more game time than they would have planned for and those young guys did well.

Fisher, who joined Saints after impressing during a pre-season trial period, limped off and was quickly given ice to apply to his right foot.
And when asked about the injury, Saints assistant coach Alan Dickens said: “It’s too early to tell. He’s got a bang on his foot. I’m sure they’ll be looking at that in the coming days.”
