It means the same XI that completed a dramatic last-ball success over Glamorgan on Sunday will take to the field at Cheltenham as the Steelbacks aim to make it five wins out of six in the competition.

There had been a slight concern whether David Willey would be available but he came through a fitness test this morning and will take his place in the side.

Head coach David Ripley said: “David’s fine. He had a bit of a niggle in his back but it has improved a lot in 48 hours so he will be okay to play.”

Northamptonshire and Gloucestershire have had contrasting fortunes in the competition so far this year.

The County sit second in the Midlands, Wales & West group and have suffered just a single defeat while their hosts are bottom of the table with a solitary win to their name.

Northamptonshire: Wakely, Levi, Coetzer, White, Crook, Willey, Spriegel, Middlebrook, Murphy, Daggett, Azharullah.
