Northants announce four-day clash against Sri Lanka in 2014
Northants have announced this morning that Sri Lanka will play a four-day game against the County from Thursday, June 5 through to Sunday, June 8.
The game against Stephen Peters’ men will be an important one for Sri Lanka, as it is the final preparation ahead of their two-Test series against England.

Hide AdPrior to the Northants showdown, the tourists will have played five one-day internationals against England.
The England and Wales Cricket Board announced the full itinerary, including the tour matches, for Sri Lanka’s tour earlier today.
Ahead of next season’s one-day series and NatWest T20 International, Essex and Kent will both host floodlit one-day matches against the tourists with Sussex also due to host a T20 warm-up game.
The tourists’ final tour match will be the four-day game against Northants, before the Test matches which start on June 16 and June 24 respectively.
