County finalise their preparations for the season

Northamptonshire have arranged a number of pre-season friendlies as they prepare for life in the domestic game’s top flight.

David Ripley’s men will face Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Yorkshire after returning from their trip to Barbados.

Ahead of the season opener against Durham which gets under way on April 13, the County travel to Trent Bridge on March 27-28 before going to Grace Road on April 1.

The next day Leicestershire visit the County Ground and the following week Yorkshire come to town for a three-day encounter from April 8-10.
