Coetzer to lead County’s one-day challenge
Kyle Coetzer has been appointed Northamptonshire one-day captain for this season.
An Achilles injury has ruled Alex Wakely out for the season meaning someone needed to replace his half of the split-captaincy policy adopted by the County.
And Coetzer, who will lead Scotland against England in a one-day international on Friday, has been the man selected to fill the role.
His first domestic duties will come when the Steelbacks begin the Twenty20 cup defence against Yorkshire at Headingley on Friday, May 16.
