Corby Dodgeball Club CIC is delighted to announce that it has been awarded funding through the Sported Community Grants Programme, made possible thanks to the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

This investment will support the development and delivery of the club’s new Girls Dodgeball Empowerment Programme, a targeted initiative designed to address local need, promote social inclusion, and strengthen communities in underserved areas.

The programme will create accessible opportunities for girls to participate in dodgeball, build confidence, develop leadership skills, and experience the benefits of belonging to a supportive team environment. By removing barriers to participation, the initiative aims to empower young people who are often underrepresented in sport.

Carl, Director of Corby Dodgeball Club CIC, said: “This funding represents a significant step forward for our community. It enables us to create meaningful opportunities for girls to grow, connect, and thrive through sport. We’re incredibly grateful to Sported and the players of People’s Postcode Lottery for believing in the impact grassroots organisations can make.”
