With snow forecast and temperatures plunging, a heavily discounted heated gilet could be one of the smartest buys this week
If the forecasters are right, Friday is going to be quite the snow day. Heavy rain arriving from the south west will sweep across the country through Thursday, and it's set to turn to snow by the evening - leaving some areas of the country under several inches of snow.
It could mean many of us will wake up in a winter wonderland, and another cold and snowy day for the last day of the working week, with a bitterly cold weekend to follow.
And if you're already making plans to head out and enjoy some fun in the snow on Friday, you'll need to dress appropriately - and this heated gilet could be one of the best layers you put on.
At just £29.98, it has 15 separate heat sheets, which gently warm you up with electronic heat, and there are three temperature levels - in case you need to turn it down after a furious sledging session.
Remarkably, it even comes with a power bank that has a 10,000mAh capacity, which the manufacturers say should give you up to 15 hours of warmth.
Because it's a gilet, it'll sit comfortably under a coat, and that'll lock the heat in, keeping you properly toasty even in sub-zero temperatures.
It's extremely rare to see them this cheap, and you do have to be careful about what size and colour you pick, because the prices do jump around a bit, but you genuinely can get one for £29.98 thanks to that 63% discount.
