A pocket-sized 40,000mAh power bank is now just £34.99, offering triple charging, an LCD display and a capacity so large it can’t be taken on a plane

Charging your smartphones and other devices on the go is becoming increasingly important as we distil our lives into battery-powered gadgets.

This is why portable power banks are becoming hot property, and we're buying more of them than ever before.

With modern gadgets requiring bigger and bigger batteries, the capacity of power banks is having to develop at a frenetic pace - and we're now at the stage where pocket-sized power banks can pack in a frankly remarkable 40,000mAh.

To put that into perspective, most airlines only allow a power bank up to around 25,000mAh. So, yes, this device is so powerful you can't take it on a plane.

But the best bit is the price. There's currently an 83% discount on Amazon, bringing it down from £199.99 to £34.99. Cards on the table, we can't find any record of it costing £199.99, so take that with a pinch of salt, but £35 for a power bank with such a huge capacity is amazing.

It can charge three devices at once, there are four built-in ports, and it comes with a three-in-one cable. An LCD display gives you real time monitoring of battery capacity and wattage.

The only limitation is in its output. At 22.5 watts, it'll be fine for most smartphones, but that's a bit slow for iPads, and very slow for laptops. But it does support PD charging, so it will still work.

If you fancy one you might need to be quick, because the deal will only last as long as stocks do. And we also don't know when it will go back to its original price. If it ever does.
