Boots has unveiled its first standalone beauty destination outside London featuring 200 brands, immersive experiences and huge savings on skincare, make-up, fragrance and wellness

Beauty lovers rejoice! Boots has opened a fun-filled and immersive wonderland of 200 leading and emerging brands spanning skincare, fragrance, make-up, haircare, wellness and electrical beauty.

Spread across an expansive and ultra-modern space in Cabot Circus, Bristol, the new mega store is Boots' first beauty-only destination outside London.

After being invited for an exclusive sneak preview before the grand opening, I can confirm that beauty and wellness fans are in for a treat in this eagerly awaited 11,000 sq ft store.

And if you can't easily make it to Bristol, the hundreds of offers available in store can also be found on the Boots app and website, so there's no chance of missing out on some fantastic premium beauty and wellness deals.

The Bristol store offers shoppers an immersive and interactive experience. It's an exciting shift from the traditional browse-and-buy approach to a focus on experiential, reimagined retail that invites shoppers to engage in beauty buying in a whole new way.

There's trend-led discovery edits, free skin scans and a lip oil creation station for P. Louise devotees. It's the first time the viral megabrand has ventured onto the high street, making it a real coup for Boots.

P. Louise can also be found on Boots' own website from today with the launch marked by some exclusive products. Look out for:

There's even a limited edition P. Louise x Boots The Sky's The Limit Drinking Cup, £25

In Bristol, digital displays, including a huge screen on the No7 stand, give the store an energy and vibrancy that eager shoppers went wild for when the store opened at 10am yesterday.

One of the biggest talking points is its K-beauty section, featuring an extensive range of Korean beauty edits such as Beauty of Joseon and Dr. Jart+

Until July 19 the store is home to an interactive Korean and Japanese Beauty airlines pop-up with prizes and giveaways. With a K-Beauty product sold at Boots every 11 seconds, it's no surprise that the new store gives it such prominence.

The fragrance offering at the new Bristol store is vast with 60+ niche and luxury scents and unmissable money-saving offers on favourites including 20% off Tom Ford and other selected scent brands.

Significant space in the new store has been given to wellness, a huge growth area for Boots, and featuring brands such as Habi and Modern Chemistry. I'm a new fan of Habi after trying their Bedtime Sleep Gummies, £10, which have been working wonders for me, and the Bouncy Glow Jelly Face Mask, £7.50.

Boots Beauty Bristol also offers a range of complimentary expert services including scalp health checks and advanced skin imaging. The camera, they say, never lies and it's a sobering experience to see your skin for what it really is - warts and all!

Mini versions of products give shoppers the chance to explore new brands without overspending and a Trending station showcases what's hot right now including Clinique's Moisture Surge SPF 25 Sheer Hydrator, now £33 online, a saving of £11.

Other leading brands at the new store include One/Size, Wonderskin and Kylie Cosmetics alongside new brands never seen before in Boots such as Flower Knows.

Other fantastic offers available in the new store that can also be found online include:

*20% off selected Nioxin products;

*25% off Vichy Dercos and Nizoral hair products;

*Save a third when you buy three Umberto Giannini and John Frieda products;

*Offers galore on The Beauty Crop cosmetics range and a free gift when you spend £12 on selected Essie products.

The store launch is the latest step in the company's beauty transformation journey following the opening of Boots Beauty at Battersea Power Station and Boots Fragrance boutique at Broadgate Central.

As I left the preview event, I couldn't help but think how proud John and Jesse Boot would have been to see how far this trusted and ever-evolving brand has come since the first Boots store opened back in 1849.

Keskine

An increasing number of people are turning to at-home IPL devices to cut down on shaving and salon visits, and the Keskine handset is one drawing interest. It claims up to 98% hair reduction in four weeks, with cooling tech designed for comfort and treatments from just 24 minutes. Priced at around £199 (was £299) 💸, it offers a lower-cost alternative to clinic sessions.

Grubby

Plant-based ready meals have come a long way from the bland reputation they once had, and services such as Grubby are leaning into meals that look more like comforting weeknight dinners than traditional ‘healthy eating’ options.
