WI member meets the Queen
A member of Yelvertoft Women’s Institute escorted the Queen at an event in London to mark the WI’s centenary.
Diana Birch, a member of Yelvertoft WI and a national WI vice chair was chosen to escort the Queen from the stage at the Royal Albert Hall in London at the Centenary AGM of the WI.
The centenary event was attended by the Queen, HRH The Princess Royal and the Countess of Wessex – all WI members.
