Wellingborough District Scouts is delighted to welcome its first Squirrel drey, with 10 new members recently being invested at 2nd Wollaston Scouts.

Squirrel Scouts are the newest section for four and five-year-old boys and girls.

This term the Squirrels have been learning about superheroes, the people who help us.

They are planning to finish this off with a trip to the fire station to see some real-life superheroes in action.

Squirrel leader Georgette Baldet said: “This has been a long time in the planning, and we are really excited to be able to offer this opportunity to boys and girls to start their Scouting adventure.”

Further Squirrel dreys are planned in the new year in Earls Barton and Wellingborough.
