Wellingborough academy is county's highest performing secondary school
The progress made by students at the Wellingborough academy has improved further placing Sir Christopher Hatton in the top three per cent of schools nationally.
The tables show its Progress 8 score as 0.76, putting it ahead of Southfield School in Kettering with 0.71 and Northampton School for Boys at 0.65.

Hide AdBrooke Weston Academy in Corby and Bishop Stopford School in Kettering were also in the well above average category for Progress 8, scoring 0.61 and 0.55 respectively.

Sir Christopher Hatton Academy, which is rated as outstanding by Ofsted, is having a sixth form open evening at 6.30pm on Wednesday, November 7.
