Smash blocking one lane on A14 eastbound heading out of Northamptonshire

Drivers on the A14 are facing queues heading out of Northamptonshire after a smash closed the carriageway.

Highways England say the road was blocked for a time eastbound between Junction 14 at Brampton and Junction 15 for Toll Bar Lane with diversions in place from Junction 13 at Thrapston.

Latest updates at 1pm revealed Police are on the scene and have managed to reopen one lane, but traffic is still struggling back to Junction 11.
