Severe disruption on Northamptonshire trains as emergency incident blocks line to St Pancras

Train operator warns of delays until lunchtime

Trains services are severely disrupted from Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough this morning (Friday March 20) while emergency services deal with an incident in North London.

East Midlands Railway expect delays and cancellations until around 11.30 while emergency services are dealing with the incident near Kentish Town.

Trains are currently unable to run between London St Pancras and Luton in both directions.

A spokesman for EMR said: "We are currently looking at alternative arrangements to keep passengers on the move."
