Rush-hour crash partially blocks A6 between Finedon and Burton Latimer on Tuesday morning

Police are warning drivers to avoid the A6 between Finedon and Burton Latimer following a morning rush-hour crash today (Tuesday).

Reports say the road is partially blocked and traffic queuing in both directions with East Midlands ambulance Service paramedics are on the scene.

A statement from the Force said: "The crash occurred just before 8am at a very busy time of the morning. Please be patient while we clear the scene."
