Queues on M1 near Northampton after early-morning crash blocks one lane

A crash is causing tailbacks on the M1 near Northampton on Tuesday morning.

One lane is closed southbound just past Junction 15 following the shunt at around 6am today (June 23).

Queues are building back beyond Junction 15A and Highways England is warning it could take until 9am to clear the incident and congestion to die down.

There are more tailbacks on the A45 back to the Wootton turn as drivers struggle to join the M1 at Junction 15
