Police and ambulance called to crash in Wellingborough

Police were called to a crash in Turnells Mill Lane, Wellingborough, at 7.50am today (Wednesday).

The crash led to some disruption for drivers as the road was partially blocked.

A spokesman for Northants Police said: "It involved a black Volvo and a blue Vauxhall.

"The road was partially blocked but it’s re-opened now."

An eyewitness said an ambulance also attended the incident, but the police spokesman said there were no injuries.
