Man, 58, dies after fatal collision on Northamptonshire road

Northamptonshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Grendon Road, Earls Barton at 9.10am this morning (November 9).

Northants Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 9.15am after a silver Scania Tipper lorry travelling westbound in Grendon Road, for reasons unknown, crossed over into the opposing carriageway and collided with a white Suzuki Vitara.

Police have now confirmed that the driver of the Suzuki, a 58-year-old man, died at the scene of the incident.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: “Anyone with information or who witnessed this incident is asked to call the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615, quoting incident number: 128 of 09/11/20.”
